Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my tree needs pruning?
Signs include dead or crossing branches, limbs growing toward structures, reduced light through the canopy, or branches that move excessively in wind. If you are unsure, our arborists will assess the tree and give you an honest recommendation.
How often should trees be pruned?
It depends on the species, age, and condition of the tree. Most residential trees benefit from a professional assessment every two to three years. Trees near structures or powerlines may need more frequent attention.
Will pruning damage my tree?
When done correctly by a qualified arborist, pruning improves tree health and extends its life. Incorrect pruning by unqualified operators can introduce disease and cause long-term structural damage. All our works follow AS 4373 pruning standards.
Do you remove the green waste after pruning?
Yes. All branches, debris, and green waste are cleared and removed from your property as part of the service. Where possible, timber is chipped into mulch and recycled.
Can you prune trees near powerlines or my roofline?
Yes. We hold Essential Energy accreditation for works near powerlines, and our crew regularly prunes trees in close proximity to structures. All works are carried out with appropriate safety protocols and compliance documentation.
