Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question about us? We've answered the most common ones below.

Do I need council approval to remove a tree on my property?

Icon

In most cases within the MidCoast Council area, yes. Trees over a certain size generally require a permit or development application before removal. As a MidCoast Council panel provider, we can advise on what applies to your property and assist with the necessary documentation.

How often should my trees be pruned?

Icon

That is what our assessment is for. We inspect the tree, check for structural defects, disease, and risk factors, and give you an honest recommendation. If it can be retained safely, we will tell you.

Will pruning damage my tree?

Icon

All timber, branches, and green waste are cleared and removed from your property as part of the service. Where possible, timber is chipped into mulch and recycled.

Do you remove the green waste after arborist works?

Icon

Yes. We carry out removals in confined and sensitive locations using controlled techniques that protect surrounding structures. We also hold accreditation for works near powerlines under Essential Energy requirements.

Can you work on trees near powerlines or structures?

Icon

We provide 24/7 emergency response across the MidCoast. For urgent situations involving fallen or storm-damaged trees, call us directly and we will get a qualified crew to your property as soon as possible.

If you have any questions about our services, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
