Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question about us? We've answered the most common ones below.
How quickly can you respond to a tree emergency?
We aim to respond to urgent emergency callouts as quickly as possible across the MidCoast. When you call, you will speak to a real person who will assess the situation and dispatch a qualified crew to your property.
What counts as a tree emergency?
Common emergency situations include fallen trees blocking access, storm-damaged limbs over a structure, trees leaning dangerously after high winds, and root failure posing immediate risk to people or property. If you are unsure, call us and we will advise.
Do you charge extra for after-hours emergency callouts?
Emergency callouts outside standard business hours are priced accordingly. We will give you a clear indication of costs before any work begins so there are no surprises.
Can you respond to emergencies on council or public land?
Yes. As a MidCoast Council panel provider we respond to emergency tree situations on public land as well as private residential and commercial properties across the MidCoast.
What should I do while waiting for your crew to arrive?
Keep clear of the affected tree and any structures it may be in contact with. If a tree has come into contact with powerlines, do not approach and contact Essential Energy immediately. Our crew will manage the situation safely on arrival.
