Diamond Beach stretches six kilometres along the coast at the northern tip of the Barrington Coast, recognised for its golden sand and the iconic rock formations at Diamond Head. Residential properties include beachfront homes, holiday houses, and permanent residences set among native coastal vegetation.

The area is part of the broader Hallidays Point locality and backs onto sections of Littoral Rainforest and coastal scrub. Established eucalyptus, Banksia, and She-Oak are common across residential blocks, and many properties have retained native trees under original development approval conditions. These trees need ongoing management as they mature and grow closer to structures.

Diamond Beach properties fall under MidCoast Council's Vegetation Management Policy. The standard process applies: check the mapping portal to see if your property is covered, self-assess for an exemption, or apply for a permit if your trees do not qualify. Properties near the coast or backing onto native bushland are more likely to need formal approval.
